However, a police complaint has been lodged regarding the matter.

On Tuesday, Karnataka captain and opening batsman Mayank Agarwal, who was out of the Indian team for a long time, was admitted to a hospital in Agartala after falling ill on the plane ready to take off for New Delhi. This incident shocked the cricket world. Mayank has lodged an official complaint with the police alleging some conspiracy.

According to reports, Mayank drank a beverage from a pouch, mistaking it for water, which was kept on his seat in the IndiGo airline flight. After drinking it he fell ill. There was a burning sensation in his throat and he even vomited. However, it is being told that his condition is now stable and he is out of danger. Mayank has lodged a formal complaint with the police through his manager.

West Tripura Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar told news agency PTI-Bhasha, Mayank Agarwal is an international cricket player. Now his condition is stable, but his manager has filed a complaint with NCCPS (New Capital Complex Police Station) to investigate the matter. His manager has said that when he was boarding the plane, a pouch was placed in front of him. He drank a little of it, but suddenly his mouth started burning and he could not speak and was brought to ILS Hospital. There was swelling and ulcers in his mouth. However, his condition is stable.

State Health Secretary Kiran Gitte said, the police have registered their complaint and we will investigate the matter. According to his manager, he will now go to Bengaluru and in the meantime, we will provide him whatever good treatment is available in Agartala.

Manager Manoj Kumar Debnath issued a press release on behalf of ILS Hospital saying that the cricketer suffered a slight burning sensation in his mouth and his lips became swollen. After being examined by hospital doctors in the emergency department, he was admitted to the hospital. Now his condition is stable and he is being constantly monitored.
